PTET 2nd cut off list, PTET 2009 second cut off list

Jay Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur has declared 2nd cut off list for Pre Teacher Education Test, PTET 2009 on 11th August 2009 (Tuesday) evening. The second cut off list is of 30,000 students including 15,000 selected students of 1st cut off who have lost the opportunity to take admission previously.

Selected students in the list has to deposit registration fee of Rs. 2000/- in any branch having the facility of core banking solution of Bank of Baroda or Central bank of India between 12tth August to 18th August 2009. The option of selection of college will be available from 18th August to 22nd August 2009; students who were appeared in the PTET 2009 exam can download their result/information by using below link are:

IGNOU launches new B.Ed (special education) course, IGNOU new B Ed course prospectus

Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU has launched a new B Ed programme in association with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) through distance learning/open education. Keeping in mind to spread education for people weak in the area of hearing impairment, mental retardation and visual impairment; IGNOU has started this course by the current academic session July 2009.

Students who are pursuing Bachelor's Degree from any University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized University and have a minimum of two years' experience in a special school environment in any disability area after graduation can enroll themselves into new B Ed (special education) programme & complete this course/programme in a of two years.

The students having one of these criteria would be proffered who would have one of the following criteria - be a parent of a child with disability, be a person with disability, posses an RCI-recognized diploma in special education, have undergone bridge course of RCI or have completed RCI recognized foundation course.
