IGNOU Bhopal Programmes, IGNOU Bhopal Center course

Teacher’s day ‘5th September’ 1986 was golden day to the people of Madhya Pradesh, seeking for distance education; Because IGNOU has opened its 1st regional center in India at Bhopal on the day. Initially Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Bilaspur & Durg city (only 5 cities) was nominated for opening of study centers by IGNOU & there after it has reached into 39 cities across the state of Madhya Pradesh.

In the year 2003 when Chhattisgarh was separated by government of India from Madhya Pradesh, Raipur regional center came into existence with 10 study center from Bhopal regional center, for the people of the state of Chhattisgarh. Once again in year 2005 Jabalpur came into existence as another regional center & 11 study centers has been shifted from regional center Bhopal, in the area of control of Jabalpur regional center.

Currently Regional Center Bhopal with a big number of study centers of 40, offers many study programmes / courses in the distance learning/ open education to the people of the state in various stream, courses offered are as mentioned below:-
