To be in reach of each & every body seeking for education/study, IGNOU has opened its regional center in operation in the state of Uttar Pradesh at Lucknow. Regional center Lucknow came into existence on 1st December, 1986 with one study centre. Now it is identified as largest Regional Centres of IGNOU in India. Lucknow regional center has two sub Regional Centers, 1:- Varanasi having 22 Learner Support Centres & 2:- Aligarh having 16 Learner Support Centres, including these Learner Support Centres 87 Learner Support Centres are spread across the state.
