IGNOU launches certificate course in diabetes care

Indira Gandhi National Open University launched a certificate progremmme in 'Diabetes Care for Community Workers' to produce skilled people to take care of patients of diabetes. This is 1st initiative taken by any university in India for common man to manage diabetes in better way.


According to IGNOU officials the programme will begin by this month. The course/programme is developed keeping in mind to built a community level workforce to work in diabetic clinics and health centers.
